Ludhiana: Maintaining that the Centre is
not acting vindictively against yoga guru Ramdev, the Congress
on Thursday said that the government cannot allow him to disturb
law and order.
AICC spokesman Manish Tewari also charged Ramdev with
playing in the hands of the RSS and the BJP.
The BJP was getting desperate and the law of the land
was closing in on certain RSS cadres involved in the Samjhauta
blast, the local MP claimed while speaking to reporters here.
He said that the law`s long arm will also catch up
with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, in connection with
post-Godhra riots.
The BJP is now using the guru as its front, he
claimed.
Tewari denied any panic in the Congress over the
incident and said the government would firmly deal with any
situation arising out of Ramdev`s agitation.
