Patna: Taking strict note of the Zee News’ report about a woman being molested by a crowd in broad daylight, Patna police on Thursday night arrested the owner and manager of Bob Hotel where the incident took place along with the youth who accompanied the girl in the hotel.

Assistant Sub Inspector of the area, Shivraj Singh has also been suspended.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has ordered DGP of the state to take strict action against the culprits promising that they will not go scot-free.

Earlier in the day, a young woman was manhandled and her clothes torn apart at the Exhibition Road of Bihar’s capital Patna.

Visuals caught on camera showed miscreants trying to tear the girl’s attire.

Sources said that the woman was in a restaurant with his boyfriend when some miscreants caught hold of the couple and dragged them on road.

The mob then beat up the boy and tore the clothes of the woman in presence of hundreds of onlookers. The woman was then chased by them.

Reflecting upon the state’s sorry law and order condition, the incident occurred in broad daylight and there was not a single policeman presenting the area. What was more disgusting was that despite a huge crowd of onlookers present, no one came to rescue the girl who kept struggling and shouting for help.

the entire act is extremely shameful and disgusting . i don`t know , who has given such freedom to public to do such sinful activities : the answer is totally waste indian ministry and politics ! shame on you , : o coward and characterless youths of patna and also on the police of patna who just loved watch the whole live show for 1 hr ! can somebody tell me one thing : how can these politicians keep their calm n just say : `` is samasya is jaanch hogi , hum apradhi ko dhoondh nikalenge ! `` .... what the hell is this ?? don`t they have a blood with courage and vigour ?...they all are coward ! shame on the incident ! ....... ridiculous !! ..... it`s complete `` WOMEN INJUSTICE ``........DO SOMETHING : O DEAD POLITICIANS....DO SOMETHING , OR BETTER DIE !

The entire episode is shocking and humiliating. Just see how anti social elements rape the law and order.
Security is only for dictionary not for woman. The media people were just chasing the rickshaw for footage /news . Did anyone call the police?
When laws are implemented then only the fear factor works. The truth that anyone can get away easily with the law is encouraging such acts. Shameful crowd too got into the cheap and free act instead of protesting. It sends a message that when it comes to safety and security of a woman it is her responsibility. No one will come forward to save.

Everytime such incidents happen but by the time the culprits are nabbed all the self confidence , control , life saftey will slowly come down in the victim.

It is not a act it is the mindset which needs a shocking enforcement of stringent laws.
A woman becomes an object for all in a minute everyone wants fun .

Such insensitive nature of the entire administration , state and general public shows that even if 100 years pass by we may not be in a position to save the modesty of any woman in our country .

Immediate action should be taken without making hue in the parliament. Action and severe punishment should be order of the day

it`s such a shameful act..we the girls are not safe in this country any more a few months back that pub incident happened in bangalore/mangalore and now this ... where is our country leading??? its shameful, awful act... this is what is happening in broad daylight in front of media and police and every body is watching with rapt attention.. Were all the people around impotent or what?? Bloody the guy doing this should be given THE MOST BARBARIC PUNISHMENT PUBLICLY.

There always is a reason behind any incident. The women who act irresponsibly are the one whom no one respects. So it not blaming general people for not having respect but to introspect and see why women now are not getting respect. Even in US and UK now women are not entitled for respect that they enjoyed previosly and they are the only one who are responsible for it. But anyways who molested a women did a legal crime and law should take its course in punishing them.

These types of crimes happen mostly in Bihar/UP. That no one came for help shows that Patna men are eunuchs. The culprits must be blinded with acid and the Bihar police are capable of doing that. The people of Bihar need such police...otherwise they will continue to be criminals.
