New Delhi: Rajya Sabha Wednesday mourned the death of 15 people, including 13 Indians, in an airplane crash in Nepal earlier this week.
When the House met for the day, Chairman Hamid Ansari mentioned the crash that took place in northern Nepal on Monday, killing 15 of the 21 people on board.
"13 passengers were Indians," he said. "The loss of so many innocent lives is indeed tragic and unfortunate."
The House observed silence as market of respect to the departed souls.
