Mumbai: The special POTA court here Monday
granted bail to Saquib Nachan, a key accused in 2003 Mulund
train blast case.
Altogether 11 persons were killed when a powerful
explosion ripped through a compartment of a local train at
Mulund railway station in Mumbai on March 13, 2003.
Court is trying three cases together: Mulund blast case,
Vile Parle blast case, and Mumbai Central blast case, as
police contend that three explosions were a part of the same
conspiracy.
Sixteen persons have been arrested in connection with the
conspiracy, under Prevention of Terrorism Act.
