Congress President Sonia Gandhi has started the process of separate interaction with party leaders.

New Delhi: Two weeks after her return from
abroad where she underwent surgery, Congress President Sonia
Gandhi has started the process of separate interaction with
party leaders.
Union minister Vilasrao Deshmukh met Gandhi here so also
former Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan. What
transpired at the meetings was not immediately known.

Last week Gandhi had for the first time collectively
interacted with party leaders when she had presided a meeting
of the Congress Central Election Committee to select
candidates from Uttar Pradesh.
Recently, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had called on her
to inquire about her health soon after she had returned here
on September eight after a month-long stay abroad.

Before leaving the country on August two, Gandhi had set
up a four-member committee comprising Antony, Rahul Gandhi,
Ahmed Patel and Dwivedi to oversee the party affairs in her
absence.
