Kutch: Indian security forces have foiled a bid by the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI to send spy agents into India from sea route, off Jahkau coast in Kutch district of Gujarat, as per a report on Thursday.

In an exclusive report with Zee News, initial investigations have indicated that seven Pakistani fishermen, who were arrested on Tuesday from Indian territorial waters in Arabian sea off Jahkau coast, could actually be well-trained ISI agents.

The intelligence agencies are also trying to determine any link between the seven apprehended fishermen and Pakistan based terrorist organisations.

Security agencies have claimed that the arrested Pakistani fishermen came to do a recce of the coastal security arrangements put in place by the Indian government after the terrorist attacks in Mumbai last year.

The suspected Pakistanis are being interrogated by the intelligence officials for further leads and they are also likely to undergo psychological and polygraph tests.

Officials came to the conclusion that the detainees were not fishermen on the basis their physical features and appearances which not match that of a typical fisherman.

Those held are said to be having well-trimmed nails, clean teeth, polished behaviour and long hair having physical resemblance with the Taliban fighters.

Although, nothing suspicious was found in their boat by the ICG officials they were taken to Okha for interrogation.
