New Delhi: Three deaths due to swine flu
were reported from Rajasthan on Sunday, taking the toll due to the
disease in the country to 573.
There were also reports of 139 fresh cases of swine flu
from across the country during the day. All cases were
indigenous, a health ministry release said.
Till date, samples from 86,841 people have been tested for
Influenza A H1N1 (swine flu) in government laboratories and a
few private laboratories across the country, and 18,007 (20.7
per cent) of them have been found positive, it said.
The release further said report of an earlier death of a
flu patient has been communicated by the health authorities of
Rajasthan and is reflected in the cumulative total.
