Terror infrastructure intact in Pakistan: Govt

The government Tuesday said terror infrastructure in Pakistan continues to remain intact and many terrorists are being trained in these camps.

New Delhi: The government Tuesday said terror
infrastructure in Pakistan continues to remain intact and many
terrorists are being trained in these camps.

"As per available information, the terrorist
infrastructure, including terrorist training camps, continues
to remain intact in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir,"
Minister of State for Home Ajay Maken told Lok Sabha today.

Replying to a written question, Maken said, "A large
number of terrorists are reportedly being trained in these
camps."

The minister, replying to another question, said there
has not been an increase in infiltration recently though 64
people were apprehended this year till June for infiltration
along the Indo-Pak border and 939 people have been apprehended
for infiltration along the Indo-Bangladesh border.

"During the same period, 11 infiltrators are reported to
have been killed along the Indo-Pak border and 13 infiltrators
were reportedly killed along the Indo-Bangla border," he said.
