Balrampur: Three labourers were killed and another was injured after they fell down while cleaning a boiler in a sugar mill, police said on Saturday.
The labourers were cleaning the boiler when they fell down from a height on Friday.
While Jagatram (32) died in a hospital here, two others identified as Kamlesh (29) and Ramshila (35), who were rushed to Lucknow Hospital, succumbed to their injuries later.
Meanwhile, General Manager of the sugar mill N K Khaitan said that though the deceased were contract labourers, the mill would give their family members proper compensation.
