UK-based society to set up Hindi Bhavan in London

A UK-based Hindi society plans to set up a Hindi Bhavan in the city to promote the language in the country.

London: A UK-based Hindi society plans to
set up a Hindi Bhavan in the city to promote the language in
the country.

Jagdish Kaushal, Chairman of the International Hindi
Society UK said the Hindi Bhavan would be established here in
a couple of years.

Speaking at the "Hindi Day" celebrations at the Kingsway
Restaurant, in Hounslow West, Kaushal said that Rajesh Khosla,
Patron of the Society and a leading property dealer based in
Southall, has promised a piece of land for setting up the
Hindi Bhavan and work on the project would commence as soon as
they raise 50,000 pounds.

Anand Kumar, Hindi Officer at the Indian High Commission,
London, who was the chief guest assured the organisers that
Government of India would help the society in establishing the
Hindi Bhavan.
