New Delhi: Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa, who is facing allegations of favouring his kin with prime land, said here on Tuesday that he will meet BJP central leadership and obey whatever decision they take.

"I have not done any mistake. I am going to meet the central leaders today (Tuesday)," Yeddyurappa told a news channel. "Whatever decision they take, I`ll obey their order," he added.

Yeddyurappa’s remarks came as senior party leader Venkaiah Naidu refuted claims that the Karnataka CM was defying the party leadership.

Naidu said the claims were wrong as the CM has made it clear that he would abide by the decision the party high command takes.

He further said that the party was also scrutinising documents dating back to the JD(S) government in the state to get a clear picture behind the corruption claims.

Meanwhile, asked if he would resign, Yeddyurappa said: "I don`t want to presume and don`t want to answer this question because they haven`t asked me to resign."

On whether he has the majority with him or not, Yeddyurappa said: "Everybody is with me. The question of majority does not arise."

Yeddyurappa, who flew into the capital on Monday evening amid speculation that he would be asked to quit over the allegations, had asserted that no one has asked him to resign. He met senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley.

Yeddyurappa is likely to meet party chief Nitin Gadkari today. Gadkari has been authorised by party senior leaders to take a final decision on Yeddyurappa`s continuance as chief minister.

He faces charges of favouring his kin with prime land in and around Bangalore. He has said his government has ordered a probe into land allotments.
