New Delhi: Hours after Defence Minister AK Antony accused Pakistan of killing five Indian soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan`s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday voiced "sadness" over "loss of precious human lives" and called for "effective steps" to restore peace on the border.
Zee News’ popular news show, ‘Daily News and Analysis’, discussed the statement given by the Pakistani PM against the backdrop of the killings along LoC.
Pointing out that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has not made any statement in this regard as yet, Programme anchor and Zee News Editor Sudhir Chaudhary aptly said Sharif spoke what we should have spoken.
