Washington: On December 2, Bing published the top search results from 2015 to reveal "the events and people that stood out above the rest to make 2015 memorable."
The web search engine Bing has divided its Top Searches into 8 categories: Celebrities on the rise (new category); Top celebrity moments (new category); Top sports moments; Top news stories; Strange but true stories; Most searched athletes; Most searched celebrities; People we lost.
Caitlyn Jenner and Miley Cyrus led the celebrity searches, and female sports players dominated the search field. There was considerable interest in the Mars water discovery and Pluto mission. The Paris terror attacks and EU refugee crisis also resulted in a large number of internet users looking online for information.
