Delhi Police is soon to hit the Facebook to help public to communicate with police.

New Delhi: Delhi Police is soon to hit the Facebook, taking a leaf out of the success of its
traffic wing in the social networking website.

City Police Commissioner B K Gupta today said the force is planning to open an account in Facebook, one of the popular social networking sites, so as to help public to
communicate with police.

"We need feedback from public. Our traffic wing is getting tremendous response," Gupta told reporters here.

The traffic wing`s Facebook account "Delhi Traffic
Police" has at least 38,891 members.

It provides a platform for the public to air their complaints as well as upload photographs of vehicles offending traffic regulations.
