New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with over one million followers, features among "the most viewed CEOs in India" this year on professional networking site, LinkedIn.

Others on the list included Rajan Anandan (Google), Biocon's Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Snapdeal's Kunal Bahl, Facebook India MD Kirthiga Reddy, Intel India President Kumud Srinivasan, Visa Group Country Manager India and South Asia Ramachandran T R, Siemens Industry Software India MD and CEO Suman Bose and Swati Piramal (Vice-Chairperson of Piramal Enterprises).

"A true leader must have a compelling vision to help steer people forward. Prime Minister Narendra Modi embodies this vision and drive and is inspiring the nation with his plans for a Digital India, and powering a billion dreams," LinkedIn said in a blog post.

With over 1 million followers on LinkedIn, he is featured with other top leaders on the list of most-viewed CEOs in India, continuing to put the nation on the world map, it added.

Modi is already the third-most followed world leader on the microblogging site, Twitter, with 14.4 million followers. On Facebook, too, his page has 3,00,29,710 likes.

The LinkedIn Power Profiles 2015 in India list includes most-viewed professionals across industries like Internet, technology, finance, human resources, telecommunications and marketing and advertising.

LinkedIn, the world's largest professional networking site, has over 31 million members across India.

LinkedIn said it used member data to pull profile views from 2014 to 2015 and applied filters to capture engagement levels, besides views.
