Shillong: Two businessmen were kidnapped
by militants from Meghalaya`s East Garo Hills district in
separate cases, police said on Friday.
Kabirul Islam, a pharmacy shop owner was kidnapped by
suspected GLNA militants from Resupakra in the district
on Thursday.
In another case, Ali was kidnapped by a seven-member
gang of GLNA and NDFB from Songsak-Mendi road when he was
travelling in his car.
Hailing from Assam`s Goalpara district, Ali is also a
trader.
