NPCC general secretary Medokul Sophie told PTI that the poster campaign demanding Imchen’s immediate removal was launched throughout the state by the respective District Congress Committees this morning.

Except for Kohima, the campaign was progressing smoothly, he said adding that with the onset of the Hornbill Festival and scheduled visit of the President Pranab Mukherjee and other dignitaries, the Kohima District Administration has undertaken beautification drive and removed the posters from the prime areas.
