Two anti-talk KLNLF militants killed in encounter

Diphu: Two militants of anti-talk
faction of Karbi Longri National Liberation Front(KLNLF) were
killed in an encounter with the police in Assam`s Karbi
Anglong district Wednesday, police said.

The encounter took place when patrolling police
personnel were attacked by a group of KLNLF militants. The
police retaliated killing two of the militants.

An AK-47 rifle, a SLR and several documents were
seized from the slain militants who were identified, the
police added.
