Guwahati: Two Bodo Peoples` Front (BPF)
members have been kidnapped by unidentified miscreants from
Assam`s Baksa district, police said here today.
The two, residents of Nij Kaurbah village and members of
the village council, were on their way to Rangia in a
motorcycle when they were waylaid by the miscreants
travelling in a car and abducted yesterday at Kowaiamri area
of the district.
The police were informed of the incident today and an FIR
was lodged in this connection.
A search operation has been launched to trace and rescue
the duo, the police added.
