Kendrapara (Odisha): A 27-year-old man was shot dead by unidentified persons at Marshaghai area of Odisha's Kendrapara district, triggering tension in the areas, police said on Saturday.
The man was gunned down near Paika river embankment road in Tikhiri village last night.
The motor cycle borne assailants fled from the spot, police said.
The deceased identified as Raj Kishore Behera is a native of nearby Dhaniapada village, said Marshaghai police station Inspector Sukant Kumar Patra.
