Mohali: Tight security arrangements have
been made in Punjab after a high alert was sounded in the
state following the serial bomb blasts in Mumbai, a senior
police officer said on Thursday.
Security had been stepped up in the state to prevent
any eventuality, state police chief P S gill told reporters
All vulnerable points have been put on high alert in
view of the blasts in Mumbai, he said.
The district chiefs have also been asked to maintain a
strict vigil at crowded places, he said.
17 people were killed and 131 others injured in the
Mumbai serial blasts yesterday.
