While Amritsar received 16.2 mm of rains, Bhiwani got 15.6 mm of rains. Hisar received 10.3 mm of rains followed by 8 mm at Narnaul, 7.4 mm at Ludhiana, 6.2 mm at Ambala, 5.9
mm at Chandigarh, five mm at Gurgaon, 2.7 mm at Rohtak and 1.2 mm at Karnal.

Patiala was the coldest place in the plains of Punjab and Haryana with a low of 9.3 degrees Celsius, which was one notch below normal.
Chandigarh and Amritsar settled at an identical low of 10 degrees Celsius, one and three notches above normal respectively.

While Ludhiana settled at a low of 10.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal, the minimum temperature in Gurgaon was 11 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal.
Rohtak recorded a low of 11.1 degrees Celsius, three degrees above normal while Ambala registered 11.1 degrees one notch above normal.

The Met has forecast cloudy weather with possibility of light showers at a few places in the region during the next two days.
