Air force show near Pokhran

Jaisalmer: IAF fighter planes will be seen
zipping in the air on February 28 over Chandhan firing range
in the district.

The demonstration `Vayu Shakti- 2010` would showcase IAF`s
fire power in day and night hours, defence sources said on Sunday.

"Over 70 front runner aircrafts including fighter planes
and helicopters will take part in the show likely to be
witnessed by President Pratibha Patil, Defence Minister A K
Antony, senior officials of armed forces and defence personnel
of foreign countries," sources said.

"The aircraft will take off from several stations,
including Jodhpur and perform over Chandhan firing range in
Pokhran," they said.
