Civic polls: Raje says people of Rajasthan have endorsed BJP's good governance

Buoyed by the victory in civic polls in Rajasthan, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Thursday said people of the state have endorsed her regime's good governance by voting for the party in civic elections.

Jaipur: Buoyed by the victory in civic polls in Rajasthan, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Thursday said people of the state have endorsed her regime's good governance by voting for the party in civic elections.

In a statement here, Raje said her government had worked to deliver good governance in the last one-and-a-half years and the party's success in the polls reflects that the nation and the state is moving ahead under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The CM in a statement also expressed gratitude to the party workers and people of the state for their work and support in the civic body polls in 129 civic bodies for which the results were announced today.

Ruling BJP party today won majority in 66 civic bodies including the Ajmer Municipal Corporation, while the Congress bagged 35 of them in the Rajasthan civic body polls, results for which were announced today.
