Due to fog in neighbouring states of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, nine trains were running late from 25 minutes to 8 and a half hours.

Sriganganagar-Delhi train was rescheduled, and four others were partially cancelled on Delhi-Bikaner and Amritsar- Sadulpur routes in the state, a North Western Railway spokesman said.

New Tansukhia-Lalgarh train was running late by 8.5 hours while Hawrah-Jodhpur/Bikaner was delayed by 4.3 hrs.

Mount Abu was the coldest place in the state with the minimum temperature settling at 4 degrees last night, a MeT report said today.

Churu on plains recorded the lowest temperature of 5.7 degrees, which was 6 notches lower than the previous night.

Night temperature dipped at almost all places in the state from 1 to 7 degrees due to fresh cold winds in last 24 hours, the weatherman said.

Pilani recorded a minimum of 6.7 degree Celsius followed by Sriganganagar at 7.6, Jaipur 8.7, Udaipur 10, Jodhpur 10.3, Jaisalmer 11.2, and Ajmer 12.1 degree Celsius.

As per a MeT forecast, the mercury will further dip during the night in the state in next 24 hours.
