Kota: Nine persons were injured, four of
them critically, in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck on National Highway 12 near Phatkheda village in the district, police said Thursday.
Traffic was also disrupted on the highway following the
mishap last evening.
SHO Mandana police station Niraj Gupta said four of the
injured, including drivers of both vehicles, have been
admitted to a hospital in a critical condition, whereas, the
remaining five were discharged from a district hospital after
first aid.
A case has been lodged against bus driver Dhulichand.
"The road mishap was due to a mistake committed by the bus
driver," Gupta said.
The injured have been identified as Phralad Mali (45)of
Panvad village, Gopal Barva (37), Shivraj (22), Rajesh Malav
(20), truck driver Rajesh Kumar (33), Dhulichand (39),
Rajendra (24) and Ameen Khan (70).
