Jaipur: Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Saturday demanded Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's resignation on moral grounds over her alleged involvement in the Lalit Modi row.
"Raje should resign on moral grounds. If she comes clean after the investigation, she can again become Chief Minister," Gehlot told reporters here.
He said allegations of transaction of money from Lalit Modi's company to her son Dushyant Singh's company were "serious" and reiterated his demand that she step down.
The BJP has already ruled out Raje's resignation while rejecting allegations against her and her son.
