Rajasthan reels under heat wave

Rajasthan on Saturday continued to reel under heat wave with Dholpur recording a maximum of 44 deg C.

After a brief respite due to showers in various parts of the state, heat returned to haunt the desert state.

Bikaner was recorded at 42.5 deg C while Churu, Sriganganagar and Barmer recorded 42.3, 42.2 and 41.5 deg C respectively.

Temperature at other places was recorded between 38.3 deg C and 40 deg C, according to Met department here.

Light to moderate rainfall occurred at isolated places in the state in the last 24 hours.

Thunder storm may occur at isolated areas in the state during next 24 hours.
