Kota: In a shocking incident a woman constable was raped and murdered inside a police station by two of her associates in Kota, Rajasthan.
Two policemen have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been sent to police custody till October 04.
Both the policemen were said to be in a drunken state and misbehaved with the woman constable inside the police station. When the lady cop opposed their move and threatened to complain to the seniors, they raped and murdered her.
The state government has ordered a probe, which will be headed by the ADG.
Meanwhile, a compensation of Rs 10 lakh has been announced for the victim’s family.
