Sachin Pilot announces new PCC executive

Congress leader and PCC president Sachin Pilot on Saturday announced his new executive and office bearers after approval from the party president Sonia Gandhi.

Jaipur: Congress leader and PCC president Sachin Pilot on Saturday announced his new executive and office bearers after approval from the party president Sonia Gandhi.

In his new team, he made 15 vice presidents, 26 general secretaries and 43 secretaries. The new executive committee has 14 members. There will be 12 permanent and 19 special invitees also, according to a statement.

Former chief minister Ashok Gehlot's son Vaibhav Gehlot has been made general secretary while Archana Sharma, who is one of the 15 vice presidents, has also been made chairperson of the media centre.

The AICC on Thursday dissolved the PCC Executive though Pilot, who was made PCC Chief in January this year, continues to be the State unit president.
