Vasundhara Raje promises social security for farmers

Rajasthan BJP president Vasundhara Raje said, the party, if voted to power, will take initiatives to improve condition of farmers in the state.

Jaipur: Rajasthan BJP president Vasundhara Raje on Sunday said, the party, if voted to power, will take initiatives to improve condition of farmers in the state.

Addressing the Suraj Sankalp Yatra in Nagaur district, Raje said the state government did not take any step for welfare of the farming community and did not consider the report of Kisan Ayog, which was submitted to the state government last year.

The former chief minister promised that if her party formed the next government in the state, steps will be taken to provide social security to farmers.

Raje addressed meetings in Kuchaman, Deedwana and other towns.
