A 35-year-old woman was on Monday killed and four others were injured in a clash between two families over an old dispute in Bundi district.

Police said 35-year-old Parvatibai was killed when about eight persons from the neighbourhood attacked Bhanwar Lal Meena and his family with sticks and iron rods in Banki village.

Four persons - Bhanwarlal Meena, Shyoji Meena, Dhanraj Meena and Kallu sustained injuries during the brawl and are undergoing medical treatment in the district government hospital, he said.

A case under section 302, 147, 148, 149 was lodged against Ramesh Meena, Jugraj, Praveen, Gyarsilal, Madan, Rampiyari and Kallu in connection with the matter.

The accused, who received minor injuries, are also undergoing treatment and no one has been arrested so far, police said, adding that they are probing the case.
