Washington: A high school class in Rockford, Illinois built a prosthetic hand for a 9-year-old girl for less than 10 dollars.

The students at Boylan High School used a 3-D printer to make the prosthetic hand for Kylie Wicker, from nearby Roscoe, Illinois, who was upset as kids kept staring at her underdeveloped left hand, ABC News reported.
Kylie`s father, Jeromy, found a video online of another father who made a 3-D printed hand for his son who suffers from a similar condition.

The 2,000-dollar-3-D printer was donated to Boylan last fall. After receiving the request from Kylie`s father, the class started their work on the prosthetic hand that would fit over Kylie`s knuckles, to allow her to grasp and hold items as a normal hand does.
Kylie will receive two prosthetics, one would be in pink and another in purple and would cost less than 20 dollars in total.
