Peshawar: At least 21 people were killed and
23 others injured today in a pile-up of over a dozen vehicles
on a busy motorway in northwest Pakistan.
The accident occurred near Rashakai inter-change on the
motorway linking Peshawar and Islamabad.
Around 13 vehicles collided with each other on the
motorway, media reports said.
Officials of rescue services said 21 people were killed
and 23 others seriously injured in the pile-up of the
vehicles.
Rescue teams took the injured to nearby hospitals.
