Washington: The risks created by President Barack Obama`s faster-than-expected drawdown in Afghanistan are manageable and don`t jeopardize the overall military mission, the top US military officer told Congress Thursday.
"While there`s more risk, I don`t consider it significant and I don`t consider it in any way, shape or form putting the military in a position where it can`t achieve its objectives," Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the US military`s Joint Chiefs of Staff, told a hearing before the House Armed Services Committee.
