Islamabad: Armed men shot dead two
members of the minority Shia community on a busy thoroughfare
in Quetta city in southwest Pakistan on Wednesday, police said.
Both victims belonged to the Hazara Shia community
that has often been targeted in sectarian attacks in
southwestern Balochistan province.
The gunmen fired at their car on Arbab Karam Khan Road
this evening and killed them on the spot. No group claimed
responsibility for the attack.
