Islamabad: Eleven people were injured in a
blast at a market in northwest Pakistan`s Peshawar on Wednesday,
police said.
The blast went off in a closed shop in Faqir Killey market
on the outskirts of Peshawar this afternoon.
Two children and a woman were among the injured.
The condition of two of the wounded was described by
officials as serious.
Several of the injured persons were taken to Lady Reading
Hospital.
The nature of the blast could not immediately be
ascertained.
