Fai was arrested by the FBI on charges of
accepting funds from Pakistani spy agency ISI to lobby and
influence the US government on Kashmir issue

December 7, 2011: Fai pleaded guilty to conspiracy and
tax evasion.

March 30, 2012: Fai found guilty and sentenced to 24
months of imprisonment followed by three years of supervised
release by a US court.
