Five killed in drone strike in Pakistan

Five persons were killed and one injured when a US drone targeted a vehicle in the restive North Waziristan tribal region of northwest Pakistan on Saturday, sources said.

Peshawar: Five persons were killed and
one injured when a US drone targeted a vehicle in the restive
North Waziristan tribal region of northwest Pakistan on Saturday,
sources said.

The unmanned spy plane fired two missiles at the
vehicle in Hamzolay town near Miranshah, the main town in
North Waziristan Agency.

The vehicle burst into flames after being hit by the
missiles. There was confusion over the identity of those
killed in the missile strike.

Some reports said the dead were suspected militants
while Geo News channel quoted its sources as saying that they
were local tribesmen.
