Hearing in Benazir`s assassination case adjourned

The additional sessions judge has adjourned till August 31 the hearing of application seeking registration of FIR against 13 people, including former Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf, in Benazir Bhutto`s assassination case.

Rawalpindi: The additional sessions judge has adjourned till August 31 the hearing of application seeking registration of FIR against 13 people, including former Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf, in Benazir Bhutto`s assassination case, a media report said.
The application was filed by Aslam Chaudhry, former protocol officer of Benazir Bhutto, taking the plea that 13 people, including former Pakistani president, Interior Minister Rehman Malik, former interior minister Hamid Nawaz, interior secretary Kamal Shah were involved in the conspiracy to murder Benazir Bhutto. Therefore, murder case be registered against them, he prayed.

Duty judge put off hearing of the case till August 31 besides directing the police to present the record again in the court on hearing day, the Online news agency reported on Saturday.
