Key Taliban commander apprehended in Pak

Security forces on Thursday apprehended a key Taliban commander considered an expert in making suicide vests from a camp for people displaced by military operations in northwest Pakistan.

The commander was arrested from Muhammd Khwaja Camp in
Hangu district.

The camp was set up to house people displaced by the
military operation in Orakzai tribal region.

The commander was taken to an undisclosed location for
interrogation, sources said.

Thousands of people fled the Orakzai Agency after
security forces launched a massive operation to flush out
Taliban militants.

Orakzai is considered the bastion of Tehrik-e-Taliban
Pakistan chief Hakimullah Mehsud.
