Islamabad: A Pakistan Army contingent on Friday left for Saudi Arabia to participate in a joint military exercise aimed at enhancing combat efficiency and mutual cooperation between armed forces of the two countries.
The Pakistani contingent comprising armoured,
mechanised infantry and artillery elements will take part in
the "Al-Samsaam" (Sharp Sword) exercise with the Royal Saudi
Land Forces.
The three-week wargame is part of a series of
exercises conducted regularly by the armed forces of the two
countries.
