Islamabad: A Pakistani teenager has been recommended for a top civilian honour by the Peshawar Police for saving his school from a suicide bombing.

Aitezaz Hussain, who was a student in Hangu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, lost his life while tackling a suicide bomber, who had come to attack his school on Monday when hundreds of students were inside the premises, Dawn News reports.
Hussain succumbed to injuries that he bore after the bomber blew himself up at the school gates.

According to the report, no one else was wounded or killed in the incident.
