A tribe in the Khyber Agency of Pakistan has appointed an eight-year-old toddler as the clan’s chief.

Lahore: A tribe in the Khyber Agency of Pakistan has appointed an eight-year-old toddler as the clan’s chief.
According to a private television channel, the Koki Khel tribe has appointed Muaz Afridi, a second standard student, as their supreme leader after the murder of their chief Sardar Malik Muhammad Ibrahim a few days ago.
Afridi is Ibrahim’s son, The Daily Times reported.

Talking to the television after being appointed as the tribal chief, Afridi said he will follow the footsteps of his father and would continue to serve his community and restore peace in the region.
