Peshawar: Taliban fighters killed a man they
accused of spying for the US and dumped his bullet-ridden body
by a road in Pakistan`s volatile North Waziristan tribal
region on Wednesday, sources said.
The body was found by the roadside in Norak area near
Miranshah, a key town in the semi-autonomous region, this
evening, they said.
The Taliban have killed dozens of people on charges of
spying for the US in Pakistan`s tribal belt over the past few
years.
Taliban courts usually decide the fate of such persons
and they are summarily executed.
