Three Afghans among 11 militants captured in Pak`s northwest

Pakistani security forces have captured 11 militants, including three Afghans, from the northwestern Swat valley and other parts of the restive Malakand division, the military said on Tuesday.

Malakand division, the military said on Tuesday.

Troops apprehended the three Afghan nationals near
Malakand Fort during the search and clearance operations, the
military said in a statement.

Five militants, including local commander Muhammad Zaman,
were captured during a search operation at Shin Khad. Troops
conducted an operation at Garai Kalle village and apprehended
another militant.

Two more militants were captured during a search
operation at Kuz Bamakhela.

Troops also found four connected tunnels and shell-proof
bunkers during a search operation near Biakand in Swat.
