Three killed in blast in northwest Pakistan

A road side bomb went off in the Khyber tribal region of northwest Pakistan.

Peshawar: A road side bomb went off in the
Khyber tribal region of northwest Pakistan on Friday, killing
three persons and injuring two others, officials said.

The explosion occurred in Shalobar area of Khyber
Agency.

The injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
Militants frequently target security forces and their
convoys during movements in the area, which is considered a
hub of pro-Taliban rebels.
