Tribal leader killed in Pakistan`s restive Balochistan

A tribal leader was killed and his two guards injured when a landmine exploded in Dera Bugti district in Pakistan`s restive Balochistan province on Saturday, police said.

Karachi:A tribal leader was killed and his two guards injured when a landmine exploded in Dera Bugti district in Pakistan`s restive Balochistan province on Saturday, police said.
A police officer said tribal leader Zara Khan`s vehicle hit a roadside landmine at Patokh in the district.
Meanwhile, security forces have killed six suspected militants and recovered heavy ammunition from their possession in Machh area of the troubled province.
