Turkey extends full support to Pak in anti-terror war

Turkey will extend full support to Pak in the war against terrorism till the region is cleared of the menace, Turkish Ambassador Babar Hazlan said today.

Peshawar: Turkey will extend full support
to Pakistan in the war against terrorism till the region is
cleared of the menace, Turkish Ambassador Babar Hazlan said
today.

Hazlan made the remarks during an official function
to distribute gifts to school children in Mingora, the main
city in the militancy-affected Swat valley.

The Turkish government and the people consider
Pakistan their second home and the friendly ties between the
two sides are time-tested and durable, he said.

The Turkish government will always remember the
sacrifices of the people of the subcontinent, which indicates
the strong bonds between the two countries, he said.

Hazlan distributed computers and other gifts on
behalf of his government to the children.
