Two killed in Pakistan suicide blast

 

Islamabad: At least two people were killed in a suicide blast near a university in Pakistan`s Quetta city, media reported on Saturday.

The blast took place late Friday night near Sardar Bahadur Khan Women`s University, Dawn online reported.

Balochistan Home Secretary Akbar Hussain Durrani said the bomber attempted to enter Quetta`s Hazara town area but was intercepted by security personnel following which the attacker, who was wearing women`s clothes, prematurely detonated his explosives.

Sources said the attacker and a security guard were killed.
